Home at the Forge

As a ranch kid growing up with horses in the Sierra mountains of California, David was mesmerized by the farrier's work in the forge. Heating and bending metal to shoe a horse was fascinating. It planted the seed; the amazing realm of possibilities that can be expressed through iron with this ancient craft. Though his career took him elsewhere for most of his life, he is thrilled to have found his way home to the forge as an artist blacksmith.
