About the Course
Required introductory class covering essential blacksmith skills and best practices.
This is a foundational project for essential skills and a springboard for next steps. A prerequisite for all other classes, in this class you will make a functional letter opener (or equivalent project) using essential blacksmithing skills. You will draw a taper, forge an edge, bend a scroll and twist a handle to make a decorative blade.
